I  usually find artists statements pretentious and boring. But I know I have to do it.

So here it is, short and sweet.

A graduate of the the Art Institute of Philadelphia, over the past ten years I’ve taught myself the technical aspects of photography while developing my aesthetic sense. My eye is drawn to repetition in shape, form and texture. I enjoy capturing an unexpected viewpoint in everyday situations. As a music lover, it’s no surprise that a good deal of my photography is from concerts and other events and performances.

My work has appeared in several exhibits and publications as well on musicians’ promotional materials.
