In 2017 I completed my MFA Masters in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Growing up, museums played an important role in supplementing my education; my father and I spent many hours at museums both locally and throughout the Northeast. I pursued this area of study because I was interested in how to bring together my varied background in photography, industrial design, graphic arts and video to create exhibitions that will continue to attract younger generations of museum goers. My museum exhibition designs include an exhibition on Philadelphia civil rights activist Octavius Catto, an exhibition on the history of anatomical body mapping and an exhibit on shoes. My thesis project, Immersive Story Lab: Strengthening the Partnership Between Public Schools and Museums, explored possible models for collaborations between schools and museums using new media such as virtual reality and augmented reality.
